December 24th Liam Smith

I’m Liam Smith, an Illustrator based in Weymouth, Dorset. It was only after 3 years of ICT at college that I found an interest in Graphic Design, then Illustration in particular which I have worked on in my spare time. I’m always taking parts in projects found via social networking like Twitter, as it gives me a chance to work under a small brief, work towards a deadline and get my work out there to be seen. I’ve been illustrating for about 9 months now and my highlight since then was appearing in a recent copy of Computer Arts magazine in the Exposure section. I’d describe my style as using simple shapes and patterns to decorate and add character to a face or object and I’m continually working to add more and vary the style.
